The summit is located on the southern side of Mount Olympus, next to the Kalogeros peak (2,701m). At the top there are fragments of ancient roof tiles without knowing the exact date of origin. Its name may have been given in honor of Major General Athanasios Fragos, who acted in the region during the Greek-Turkish war in 1897 and then in the Balkan Wars (1912-1913). Another version is to have her name picked up by a kleptomato or a farmer in the area. At the top there is a column of GYSS (General Army Service).
