Mikri Toumba | 2.740m

Mikri Toumba summit at 2.740m altitude, is located on the north side of Mount Olympus, west of the Profitis Ilias summit and north of Stefani summit. It is a rocky, northern extension of Toumba summit, from which comes the second half of its name.

The word Toumba comes from the Latin word tumba (= hill), a loan from the Greek word tumulus (= hillocks artificial hill above a tomb).
